Our Review: We are hooked!

fish fry - iheartfountainhills.comWe have been hooked on Jim-Bob’s fish & chips ever since discovering it last year with friends.  The batter fried cod is crispy on the outside, and incredibly moist on the inside.  Also reported by a local chef, “the fish was done well, crispy, not soggy or oily.”  Friendly and pleasant volunteer workers stand by to serve you more fish, fries, and hush puppies.  The dessert table consists of pies, cookies, and cakes depending on availability.

Jim-Bob's Fish Fry - iheartfountainhills.comJim-Bob’s Famous Fish & Chips also offers one of the most unique dining experiences in town.  The shared picnic tables encourages a community atmosphere where you are sure to run into a friend or neighbor or even make friends with the regulars.  We love that they play old favorites like  “I Love Lucy” on the projector in the background.

Jim-Bob's Fish Fry - iheartfountainhills.comFamilies can bring their young kids in their strollers.  3 and under are free, discounted pricing applies to children.  Well behaved children are placed by Pastor Iverson on his motorcycle for a photo op.

So what are you waiting for?  We hope to see you all at Jim-Bob’s Famous Fish & Chips!

A Cause We Can All Get Behind

1 in 5 people in Arizona do not know where their next meal is coming from.  The food bank assists an average of 243 families every month, and the two main age groups are children in need and the elderly.  Currently, the cost for assistance totals $2.63 per individual or $8 per family each month.   – David Iverson, Director of Extended Hands Food Bank
