Did you know that the Library now offers a Story Time for toddlers (3-5) in the evening?
My children have been attending our local library story times since they were born. Unfortunately, I have only been able to accompany them a few times since I work during the day. I often wished I could attend these events as my kids seem to enjoy themselves so much. They come home and tell me how they danced, sang, and made crafts at the library. I love seeing their faces get all excited when they talk about their story time experiences. I was thrilled when I recently found out the Fountain Hills Library will be offering a story time in the evening once a month, generally towards the end of the month. Each month will focus on a specific theme.
January Theme: Magic of Music
In January, my whole family went to the evening story time. We were the only ones there, but that didn’t bother my daughters one bit. They listened to the stories, sang songs, played music and had a blast. They even got me up and dancing the Hokey Pokey with them. It was a lot of fun.
I encourage all families with toddlers to join in this monthly event, especially if you can’t make the early morning story time classes. The evening Family Story Time create a wonderful way for working parents to participate.
February Theme: Preschool concepts
The next Evening Family Story Time is February 24 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm. The theme for February is Preschool Concepts. For a complete list of all the free activities at our Local Library check out the website.
We hope to see you there!
